Hotel Alif Avenidas

I booked this hotel based on google reviews, and I was so disappointed. The rooms are so close to each other than any other hotel I've been to, and the hallways are by far the narrowest with loud echo for doors closing. I was right beside the staff room where they keep all the cleaning supplies and equipments, and they were in and out of the room dragging heavy equipment and working the shelves until 10pm making it impossible to sleep after a long day. I stayed for 6 nights and got zero sleep or rest. The view from the window is a complete concrete wall. You hear everything upstairs, and through adjacent rooms, and I had loud Latin neighbors with lots of luggage. The room had very little space, with twin beds and I heard people upstairs dragging the beds all the time. It is 50 min walking distance to the city centre, and there are some shops and nata place nearby as well as a high end shopping mall, but I would advise everyone to stay away from this place.

This was a fantastic hotel across the street from a metro stop. The room was huge, the front desk staff was very helpful and spoke english. Great cafes near by and the mall was a few blocks away. Don't stay in the heart of Lisbon where it is loud and noisy and you will not get a good night's rest, when you can stay here and just hop a metro to any part of town.

During my stay at Hotel Alif Avenidas, I was immensely impressed by the outstanding level of service, particularly by a front desk staff member named Suzana. She epitomized professionalism, patience, and was incredibly sweet and helpful throughout my stay. A situation that particularly stood out was when I lost my wallet. Suzana, upon hearing about my predicament, went above and beyond. She and her colleagues took every possible measure to assist me, showcasing not just professional service but also a deep level of empathy and commitment to guests’ wellbeing. Suzana’s exceptional service provided immense emotional value during a stressful time. It’s rare to find such dedication and care in the hospitality industry. A huge thank you to Suzana and the team at Hotel Alif Avenidas. They truly understand what it means to offer top-notch service and support to their guests. Highly recommended!

I stayed in this hotel for 4 days with my husband and I have to say It is one of the best place in Lisbon and also one of the best hotel I had the opportunity to book during my trip all over the world. The location is amazing, it is quiet not so central but there are a lot of restaurant all around, a supermarket in front and the metro just 1minute walking. The staff is really nice and helpful for everything. The room are very big, clean, bright and the bed is huge. The bathroom very clean as well, big with a good shower. The cleaner never knocked to our door to clean even if it was late morning sometime, but every time we were going out and coming back our room was impeccable cleaned. I give a 10/10. Amazing place!!
